I’m still out doing regular lawnmowing, watching the daffodils come through whilst the great tits sing their spring “squeaky wheelbarrow” song already. Is winter actually going to arrive this year?!

With the mild weather of late I’ve been holding off from hedgelaying. It can be brutally hard work and doing it in chainsaw trousers when it’s sunny and 16C is not a lot of fun! Just completed a hedge by Burrow Mump with my good friend Mike Reed.
